Landfall Angus Livestock / Farm Hand Position – Greenhythe Property
Landfall Angus is a progressive family owned and operated mixed farming operation located in the Tamar Valley of Northern Tasmania specializing in livestock production.
An opportunity exists for an experienced full time Livestock / Farm Hand to join our team. The position is based on our Greenhythe property situated 40 km North of Launceston. Greenhythe Pastoral currently runs an Angus cow herd focused on seed stock production and a composite ewe flock producing store lambs.
This position is an active hands-on role, which involves working closely with the manager at the same time it provides opportunity for growth and development and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility.
This role involves and requires the successful applicant to have experience in all aspects associated with livestock production such as animal and grazing management, fencing including strip grazing, irrigation and some machinery operation and maintenance. They will also display a desire to increase productivity and play an important roll in the continual growth of our business.
Competent working dogs are essential and licensing / certificate qualifications e.g. Chemcert, ATV, Chainsaw, first aid will be considered favorable.

A remuneration package commensurate with experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant. This position requires the successful applicant to live on property and housing is provided.
